Just One More Ministry (JOMM) began in 2008 as a small and informal food recovery program founded by Chris Capper working with Meal Outreach Ministry at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa. The food rescue program grew from a humble beginning of rescuing one box of bread and donating it to a central city church, into its current form rescuing and repackaging prepared food, fresh produce, and bakery from numerous Milwaukee suppliers and redistributing it to over 75 Greater Milwaukee inner city churches, food pantries, and organizations serving the homeless, poor, women, children, elderly and veterans.
In June 2013, Just One More Ministry was incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

To work with area restaurants, food suppliers, and caterers to recover and repackage excess food and provide a crucial link to needy communities, shelters, and food pantries, feeding those who would otherwise be hungry.
To provide guidance, assistance, and manpower in the creation of community gardens strategically located to feed at risk populations.
To coordinate with local farmers, community supported agriculture co-operatives, farmer's markets, and gardeners to plant just one more row, donate just one more bushel, or remember just one more person with food that might otherwise be wasted.
To provide comfort to individuals suffering from addiction and support them in recovery through the faith based Celebrate Recovery program.
Expand the food recovery and distribution to specifically target and feed the many homeless youth in Milwaukee.
